My TV has been putting a giant black block right in the middle of the screen.

It doesn't completely cover it. It is an even sqaure black block that covers the screen about 1-2 inches away from the edges. It is only on CBS, and it isn't all the time. This has justrecently started happening. Do you know what I can do?

I'd have never guessed this was closed captioning. Only happens on CBS? And square instead of rectangular, and in the middle of the screen instead of along the bottom or top? And no actual words?
