My tv and xbox 360 problem.

This is my Tv.

now, on the remote, for video 1-2 inputs, i have zoom, 4:3 and 16:9 modes to work with, but i have the xbox hooked up via component,and set to 1080i, the adjust tv option on the xbox is grayed out, and the buttons that adjust the tv via the remote, do not work (i guess there disabled?)

any ideas whats going on? the screen is like trying to show a 54" display on a 52" tv (for example)

this is soo frustrating!!!

Is there possibly a position adjustment control in the options menu? I know my TV doesn't have one for component input (different brand and type though), but I do have one for PC input.

oh, forgot to mention i tryed that. still no go there is no option in the menus
