I'm still at work doing ip subnet conversions....

There's this site in Dayton that had a bad Cisco switch. So we were going to cancel that site.

Turns out we got a Cisco tech to show up today to make the replacement so we could go on with the conversion.

Well, we're about done with everything in the conversion when they start to move the devices from the old switch to the new switch....there wasn't enough ports on the new switch.........

Well, when the Cisco tech show up to replace that bad switch, it went from 48 ports to 24 ports..... how can a tech doing a straight swap not notice the difference!?!?!?!?

I have to back out of this site that I've wasted 4 hours on already. :disgust:

In theory, I could add the re use the old switch on the new network...but I don't have the rights to get into the switch...oh well....

ZZZZzzzz I need my rest.... it's getting late....

I'm going to whip out my corp. card and order myself something expensive to eat...

I crave some baby cow steak with penne or something....

The website is down because the owner moved, and the server is in storage somewhere..... He put the site on some cheap free web hosting place that probably have limited bandwidth....

We had this tech a few nights ago that mispronounced everything! I mean, usually you correct that person, and they don't do that anymore....but he insists on pronouncing Greenwhich "Green-which", Louisville "Lewis-Ville", Ian "Anne", Pierre "pear"... after several corrections we just gave up.

Ummm...you eat steer not cow. Cows are female. Just thought I'd let you know.

But anyway, maybe the Cisco guy "upgraded" you?

J/k. That sucks though, the tech should have known ahead of time or at least realized his mistake instead of brushing it off. How many lines are left unplugged? Hope you get it up and resolved very soon.

Don't we eat both cows and steers?

Yes you do. I've hauled more damn beef in my refrigerated trailor and had to wait at more damn meat packing plants to know the facts about beef production.

Some of you eat unborn calf, called veal.

bon apitite;)

thats what i thought...

Cows are female, and are for milking, their meat is too "soft" (softer than steer) for eating.
Steers are male, obviously. Don't go and try to milk a steer now.... :D
I learned this info in foods class of all places, heh.
