I'm still at work doing ip subnet conversions....
There's this site in Dayton that had a bad Cisco switch. So we were going to cancel that site.
Turns out we got a Cisco tech to show up today to make the replacement so we could go on with the conversion.
Well, we're about done with everything in the conversion when they start to move the devices from the old switch to the new switch....there wasn't enough ports on the new switch.........
Well, when the Cisco tech show up to replace that bad switch, it went from 48 ports to 24 ports..... how can a tech doing a straight swap not notice the difference!?!?!?!?
I have to back out of this site that I've wasted 4 hours on already. :disgust:
In theory, I could add the re use the old switch on the new network...but I don't have the rights to get into the switch...oh well....
