My turn! I need an AMD mobo recommendation.

Ok Peeps I'm in the market for a new Athlon MB. I haven't looked in a while so I don't know whats out there. Here are some specs that I would like to have:

Current and future XP compatable
Raid ATA133
4 DDR slots
DDR333
6 pci slots
usb 2.0
VIA chipset
$125 and under

This is not a strict list tho. Maybe I can work with 5 slots if it has built in networking and maybe a 266 board would be cool too since I only have 2100 DDR ram. You get the picture. Thanks for your input.

i believe this motherboard should be good, and has all but one of your requirements (doesn't have usb 2.0). it's only $102 at newegg:

*Notes about KX7-333R from ABIT:
Add-in USB 2.0 PCI Card = Koutech @ $25 / NewEgg. PCI Slot positions 1 & 2 are PCI Masters, so use USB 2.0 card these positions.
PCI Slot # 5 shares IRQ with RAID, best to leave this position unpopulated, and use the bracket harness to mount the boards aux. 1.1 USB there.
You can't (?) use the 4th RAM bank unless ALL RAM Memory is Buffered, Registered, E.C.C
Most boards have limited capability to use 3rd bank without boosting DDR voltage (Mine works fine) not sure how well the 4th would run.
266 boards are very good, but don't have 5:2:1 divider, the KX7-333R does.
