Obviously I have a million other pictures, but to lazy to upload. The city is amazing, a lot of money in it at the moment, so many buildings being built right now, reminds me of Dubai.

Bocas Del Toro, was a very nice place to visit, no mosquitoes, and white sand and very clear water. Got to go on a boat tour and see dolphins, red dart frogs, sloths, coral reef snorkeling. Definitely re***mend going there if in Panama or Costa Rica on a trip.

First I have had a tan this early in the year

A man, a plan, a canal: Panama! :awe:

Cool pics. I own and have watched The Tailor of Panama several times (guilty pleasure) and it always makes me want to go there. How is the cost?

well in Panama City(downtown) it is expensive like any other city. Outside of the city and the country, you can buy many things at a reduced rate(especially food). They use the dollar there(Balboa for coins)

In Bocas, I stayed at this really nice Ben and Breakfast for only $110 a night(felt like it should be worth more). Everything was very cheap in Bocas, the people who live there a poor, so all the convience stores and shops are very affordable

Cool, thanks. Planning a vacation for later this year, so I'll put this place on my short list.

Damn. Blocked at work...

Hey Jassi I read your other post. Best places to visit are Bocas Del Toro, San Blas(Colon), Panama City(Casco Viejo), and Chiriqui. You can also visit the Darien Gap, very remote, but can be dangerous because of the drug runners.

Learn Spanish fairly well, they speak English there also, but you get more respect speaking Spanish(there accent uses less "s"' in their words

example, "como e'ta" "bueno dia"), when you greet someone there just use

"buenos" for morning and "buenas" for afternoon and night.

Always have cash on you, not as many places take credit card there. Also do not rent a car in the city(anywhere else is fine) and drive unless you are Travis Pastrana and have balls of steel, they driver very very crazy there. Take a taxi or city bus(diablo rojo)

At first I thought OP was scouting it for Rush since Costa Rica isn't gonna work.
