BTW-I put up the Christmas lights on the outside of our house last weekend. Kind of pales in comparison to Clark Griswold down the street though.

Bah. I'm all for technology, but when it comes to Holiday decoration (and this goes for any holiday) it just makes it look like a fvcked up techno remix. (Kinda like looking at the new CG things on Sesame Street compared to the older ones). Besides, who doesn't enjoy the smell of natural pine? Oh well. To each his/her own.

We went out as a family - great family tradition - and picked one, brought it home, and now it is up. Love this time of the year. And to be really politically incorrect it is a Christmas Tree.

It's a Christmas Tree regardless. The use of the tree was started by some monk who used the triangular shape to help teach the holy trinity (of Catholic Christianity). Then everyone else saw that the Christians got to have a nice tree once a year, and thus they posted many a message in the "IWANNA" thread in HD. The mods then decreed that to be less offensive, it would be dubbed a "Holiday" tree, and thus Ultralight will soon be faced with the smiteage of the Kinky mod, Mean mod, and the little, now probably undead chianti barfed up by the mean mod. 😉
