My time zone doesn't work!

I've had a look at earlier time zone-related threads, this seems to be a different problem.

I've always had my time zone set to Newfoundland (GMT -3:30), with a matching entry in the time zone offset field. Today, I realized that the times on the posts were wrong, and tried to set it correctly, thinking it had something to do with daylight savings time. Looks like that's not it.

The newest posts are always off by 1/2 an hour under the Newfoundland setting. If I switch to Atlantic (-4:00) or Greenland (-2:00), the time in the posts matches these time zones. When I switch to Newfoundland, it stays on the previous time zone! I've tried both setting the time zone and the offset, but neither worked.

Is this a bug or am I dumb?

Most Timezone adjustments can not handle the 30 minute offset.

Suggest that you adjust your mental time clock.😛
