My thrillhost pages are down...Are yours? Update: Looks like a burstNET issue.

I have three sites all on the same linux box hosted with them and they are all down. I don't know the name of the box.

Anyone else have this problem?

Update:
"OK from what I can gather, this is not a Thrillhost or Midphase problem. It is a burstNET problem. Appearantly Raven at least, and I would assume the other servers, feed into BurstNET which has been having problems over the last two days. This explains why the servers appear 'up' on the midphase page but we cannot reach them." From beer

Perhaps midPhase is just doing some sort of account maintenance including sending out DNS changes??

My sites are down, too.

I had emailed them when my domain was down yesterday. They said burst.net was having connectivity issues but that the servers were up. My domain was up and down throughout the day.

I don't have the email here unfortunately.

Keep in mind that as of 3/1 we are not 'Thrillhost' customers anymore, we are 'Midphase' customers. I would expect Thrillsupport to be useless from now on.

If the OP would update to reflect this, that would be great.

beer,

Unfortunately it appears the Burst.net data center is having even more problems which affects ThrillHost and ultimately your resellers account.

Check out the WHT Network Outages and Updates forum, the huge BurstNET problems - 3/1/04 thread with over 350 posts and 12,000+ thread views :)

I would recommend either:
1) Requesting ThrillHost move your reseller accounts to their Atjeu server (if they still have it)
2) Move to a different web host who does NOT use the Burst/Nocster data center.

I have been quite happy with my UltraUnix.net resellers account, WHM/cPanel, host unlimited domains, 2.5GB/25GB for $13.99 (PM me for a link) server specs are Dual XEON, 2GB RAM, 2x36GB SCSI located at the Global Crossing/CyberWurx data center in Atlanta, GA. There were some minor outages last week but they were quickly fixed. Otherwise my web sites uptime have been at least 99.7%+ or better.

Another good choice is dathorn.com which isn't the right choice for everyone but most AT'ers seem to be happy with dathorn. They currently host Neffing.com pics to give you an idea for server speed.

I have to agree with RossMAN on that one. BurstNET is known as one of the less reliable datacenters and has had quite a few problems lately. If you are looking to switch I would highely recommend HostSpace, they are a new company and seem to be doing very well. I switched to them for a backup reseller account after I closed my thrillhost account prior to the company being sold.

looks like some really good deals on hostspace. its nice to see a company that actually uses REAL rackmounted servers for a change. i don't like how most hosting providers use normal desktops for it. anyways, when its been around longer and its proven itself, then i might open an account with them and move some of my stuff.

I have chatted with DeviousTrap about HostSpace, they do have some incredible deals.

I am soooooooooo glad that I have no accounts at Burst/Nocster.

My first shared dedicated server was at Nocster and it was down so often, then my thrillhost resellers account was at Burst. Since then the dedicated server is now at ThePlanet and resellers account is at CyberWurx.
