My thoughts on the 'Switch'

So i got me a g4 tower the other week so here my thoughts on the switch:


The good:
OS X ..its just awesome...from the little details like equalizers that work instanty to console and all the unix goodies
iTunes ..organizes everything in neato folders, the equalizer thingy and more
the mail app ... automatic junk filters etc.
the case is just purty
everrythign is soo pretty and polished...and see thru...and stuff

The bad:
Can't get my digital camera to work (canon s200, the usb port doesnt see it thought the remote connect works)
No parallel port...gonna have to get a usb adapter


There was a couple problems i ran into: Converting my drive from ntfs to fat32 didnt work...I had to copy it manually to fat 32 partition and then copy that to the mac ....
I also managed to delete all my mp3s in the process. Also as of now i have no TV out...till i get radeon 8500

Strange thing with your camera.. I got my S100 to work just fine. Plugged it in, and POOF instant photo album. 🙂

No parallel port is a given. PCs shouldnt' even have parallel ports anymore, or serial ports for that matter. Gotta love legacy architecture.

And the drive mishap had nothing to do with your mac. That's Windows screwing stuff up for ya. 😀
