Played some Deus Ex Revision with it and already there are some community configurations setup to use. I chose the first one and without any tweaking of my own I was able to navigate everything including Windows 10 just fine.

My first terrorist victim, some 50 ft in front of me,first shot was a head shot but took me a second to get my aim and I took a couple of hits beforehand, obviously this is going to take some getting used to but the fact I was able to do so within such a short time leaves some hope.
But for the couch/console gamers out there like myself, this will do fine after some muscle memory although I see no reason for the left trackpad, a Dpad would have been better. It'll probably do ok for everything but competitive MP.

My first impression is that this is a niche product that tries to fill a void that very few people have in general. If you own a XBOX360 controller and have a keyboard and mouse as well then this controller is pointless. Also this controller very much needs a clear and direct tutorial to use and configure. In the end most people are gonna chuck this controller into a drawer and completely forget about it in about 1-2 weeks time. Also correct me if I'm wrong but I think sucks that you have to be in Big Picture mode to configure and assign profiles to games to be able to use this controller.

Then why did you buy it? You had a first impression so obviously you must have done the early pre order unless you're just talking out of your ass about a product you never used...which wouldn't surprise me here.
This is for couch gamers. swapping between a kb/mouse and gamepad on a couch kind of sucks. But I played a couple ours in AC Unity and got pretty good at using the trackpad for camera movement in 3rd person. I had to spend some time tweaking it and it felt very awkward at first but it got easier with some time.
And yes, if there is a market for console gaming then there is a market for this controller since obviously console gamers use consoles because they don't have to use other peripherals to make it function..
