We don't want to end up with the horrible demographics of Japan, so I don't really care. I think higher competition for lower wage jobs is a small price to pay for a younger demographic mix, even if it costs us some money in social services and such, if they come here and get work done, then they are pulling their weight.

The end.

O rly?

Seriously, please get to know the difference between immigration and illegal immigration. None of us better have a problem with immigration, as we all are immigrants. We have laws against illegal immigration. That said, we are a nation of laws and policies, but the current president, king, or whatever the hell you call him, seems to not want to follow them.

Your buddy Bush brought them here.

Now you have to deal with the new Democrat votes :D

Eventually our immigrant friends from south of the border will become the majority and will become the conservatives they were always culturally suited to be. Once their CBDs become fixed and creating law, they will send the real illegal immigrants packing back to Europe. Then you'll really see some irony.

My thoughts on immigration is if the government is not going to do anything about illegal immigration they should immediately provide immigration visas to all who are trying to legally immigrate, specially those who are seeking H-1B visas.

It is pretty simple - you don't want immigrants? Then tell business owners to hire only 2nd/3rd generation Americans at min wage.

Immigrants aren't showing up here, given a bag of money and then kick their feet up on the backs of hard working Americans. The immigrants are working shit jobs, at shit wages - for business owners who want to keep as much of their profits as possible.

Does the US have an abundance of low wage jobs I am unaware of?

If an illegal immigrant comes in displaces an American worker while they may still be technically pulling their weight it is still a negative for America as there is still an extra person not pulling their weight as it was.

Unaware of?

Well, yes...along with about 90% of reality.
