OK, I got hooked at the beginning of this season, and I went back to view the rest of the shows. I'm just curious if this theme continues:

If you're a woman, you're causing problems that people have to fix. Let's run them down:

- His daughter is just constantly doing things that get her into trouble
- His wife caused problems with Nina by complaining about her and Jack's relationship, and now she's running around delirious
- Jamie was a traitor
- Alberta Green was just a b1tch trying to take Jack's job and trying to turn everyone against him
- Sherry Palmer was going behind her husband's back and screwing up all sorts of things... also, I was hoping David Palmer was going to punch her in the face
- Palmer's daughter's rape messed things up for people; I'm not saying it's her fault, but again, she's a woman, and she's causing more problems than she's solving
- Elaine, the woman in Palmer's staff, was sleeping with the assassin, and she ends up stabbing him when they could have used him
- Nina.... yeah, that's ridiculous
- Palmer's secretary/speech-writer is just dumb

Am I missing a woman here in a major role that doesn't cause troubles?

Heh, no, but it's been made clear to me that I'm missing something big. Please don't spoil it for me. I'm watching the rest tonight.
 
OK, so now I know that even Nina causes problems. I also saw what Palmer's secretary (or whatever she was before he fired her) was doing. Amazing. Literally every woman on that show is worthless.

Aren't there any women out there that see this? I'm just wondering.

Now I know why Jack hates Nina. I think there are about a thousand plot holes associated with this, but it was certainly entertaining.
 
Second Season was my favorite. There's one female character that helped Jack out a lot.

And i take it that you haven't seen the recent seasons. Chloe doesn't take no for an answer. My female friend loved her in the show.
 
how about Samwise Gamgee's crackwhore sister/ex-gf this season? I just hate it when they do this kind of stupid crap, putting very annoying and worthless characters on the show.
 
I swear sometimes it's the only reason the season's take as long as they do. Insert worthless drama that is generally unrelevant and bam, enough material for 10 more episodes. On most occasions I'd rather turn it off than deal with it.
