My thoroughbred B doesn't change multiplier

I recently acquired a thoroughbred B - JIUHB 0302. It's the one that comes with multiplier unlocked, but when I put it in and changed the multiplier, it will just boot at 11x133 (default). So when I set 11.5, 12, 12.5, etc. It will stay changed in the bios, but not in actuality, almost as if its not unlocked, though I'm sure it is.

Please help. I'm using an asus a7v-266e and a stick of ocz pc3000 ram. I'm using the latest BIOS update.

Thanks in advance.

Is there an option in the bios or cmos that auto-configs the divider for you? I had that problem. Even though I set the multiplier higher, there was an option that detected the multiplier/divider for me which I had to turn off.
