Enamel could be wearing down or your gums may be receding.

But really it means you should go to the dentist.

Probably oral glaucoma. Start smoking pot.

Or it could be sensitive teeth. Best to start smoking pot for that too.

Errm... what part of your body are you inhaling the marijuana with? Oral glaucoma = oral inhaling. Anal glaucoma = ...?

Ask a dentist, but one possibility is that you grind your teeth too much at night and it is wearing down your enamel. That's the case with me. The only answer is to purchase a nightguard from the dentist and wear it every night while you sleep. That doesn't stop the pain but it stops additional damage to your teeth which could eventually lead to requiring some major repair procedures. For the pain, there is a prescription paste that you put on your teeth somewhat regularly that contains more fluoride than usual. The sensitivity that you are feeling is a result of microscopic holes in your enamel as a result of a cavity or the grinding. In the case of grinding, the paste plugs up those holes.

It means you shouldn't put anything cold in your mouth unless you've taken pain meds.

I'm guessing that it's an exposed nerve ending or something. That would probably be caused by a receding gum line I would imagine.
