my take on planet of the apes - spoilers

the ending doesnt make any sense. first of all, remember when mark was telling the apes what happened to the apes on earth. he said that they all died becuz humans cut down all of the trees they lived in thus becoming extinct. so when he returns to earth, going back in time like the device in his pod showed, where did the extinct apes on earth come from? he even said that the monkeys in the spaceship werent apes cause they were extinct already and that they were chimps and stuff. and as we all know, chimps cant morph into apes so even if they did crash land and overpower the humans, where did the apes come from? might as well have had dinosaurs or something when he returned to earth...

edit: heh, forgot to mention that there were spoilers in here ...
 
hows it wrong? did he not say apes were extinct from the cutting of their habitat?

and i know theres another thread on it already, but im starting my own.
 
No, he said they cut downt he forest and put them in cages in a zoo, not they became extinct, I dont know where you got that from mate.
 
he said the only surviving ones were in the zoo after the rest became extinct. and even at that, he still said that there were very few of them that lived in the zoos. PM me if you want to argue some more, i dont want this forum turning into a one on one chatboard.
