good, bad? i finally decided on these items and i wanna buy it this weekend 🙂

which zalman northbridge cooler are you getting? I have the blue one, and you need to make sure to give it airflow. Also, check out arctic cooling's freezer 64 - really quiet at 5V, and keeps my cpu between 35Cidle and 42C full load.

Sweet. Rams fine, GPU is good, maybe wait a few months you may be able to get a 6800 with the 7800 coming out, prices might fall etc.

That'd be a few months away.

Go and build and have fun.

na i can't wait. i waited a year already. and im getting the blue one 🙂. i dont know what fans to get so im sorta delaying that fora while. any suggestions for a 120mm fan, an 80 and a 92 mm fan for the case??

(is the panaflo l1a really the best?)

if the zalman 7000 cu (All copper) isnt that expensive, get that instead of the 7000 AlCu. not a whole lot better, but might be few degrees cooler for you.

With all of these awesome cooling products, you should probably go with the DFI Lanparty Ultra-D board to overclock your CPU to the roof. All of that money spent on cooling would otherwise be useless, as Athlon 64's run pretty cool on stock HSF anyways.

you might want to consider underclocking and undervolting then ... it may be possible to run with a very small, quiet fan (such as Papst).

get the Zalman VF7000AlCu GPU cooler, it comes with an adapter to undervolt 2 fans to 5V. Works great. Also, get the fan i linked you to above, and you'll have a darn quiet computer. I have a very similiar setup. 🙂

sounds good to me. i cant wait to build a a64 system and get rid of this p4. I love pioneer burners, but i dont think they support bitsetting, which is a must for me. i would rather have an nec
