I have a asus K8V SE Deluxe mobo and a WD Raptor HD What type of software do I need so that I can put WIN XP on it. It keep on ask me for some piece of software put I have no clue on which one I need. Please help I'm almost ready to give up. Thanks.

Uh... a Windows XP CD?

What error or message is it giving you exactly?

probably need to load your SATA drivers first..

guess we know what you are missing possibly..but the SATA drivers are on the mobo's CD ..as was said in your other thread..

I try adding the promise sata 378 and that did work.
