My system still won't start!

I just got my new P5B (vanilla) after sending the old one in, and I'm getting similar problems. The CPU I bought to go with the system is an E6300, and it won't post with that. So, I switched to a Pentium D but with the same end result. I've tried different types of memory (Bought DDR2-667 Corsair, wouldn't work, tried another type of ram, still not working). I've even tried multiple 3D cards, from an X300 to an X1900XT. Now I haven't tried a different power supply (Antec Neo 550), but everything turns on when I power up the system, it's just that my monitor ain't showing me anything (yes, I've tried different monitors as well). Anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be?

^ I agree, take it out of the case and put in the bare minimum. If it boots, you might be shorting the mobo inside the case or your not setting the video card securely enough in

I'll give that a try.

I just tried a different HDD but still no post. I'm beginning to suspect the PSU, but everything turns on when I power up, so I don't know. It can't be anything else, as I've tried different components for everything.

Still could be the PSU. It puts out several separate supplies on "rails". So if most are OK and just one is weak or dead, some things will appear to work even though the total system fails.

I tried it out of the case, with the same result. The PSU's connection to the video card is good, cause it does light up, but I'm guessing something else must be wrong with it. Also I did notice that sometimes it took a few seconds after I pressed the power button for everything to turn on. I'm really not looking forward to an RMA with ZZF, maybe I'll just return it and get one from Newegg.
