My system sounds I like a rocket taking off!

I have assembled my Duron setup as follows:

Fong Kai 603 case with a case fan
Enermax 431 Watts PS with dual exhaust fans
Duron 650 OC to 950
Alpha PAL6035 with 38cm Delta fan

The overall sound varies between 58dB and 63dB.

I think the CPU fan is the culprit? Is there anyway to damp the sound. It is really annoying!

Not really besides changing the fan. And it probably is the cpu fan. Those high rpm fans are extremely annoying.

I guess there's always a bright side to discover if one is will to search for😀

How about noise absorbing materials like dynamat?

How about this:
Get that 131cfm Sunon 120mm fan to put in the front as an intake fan. I got one and it does a very good job drowning out the 38cfm delta fan that I have on my Alpha.... ...but its still loud 😉

I hate those noisy fans. I always get low rpm/low noise fans for my system. Otherwise, I will go nuts and kill myself.

Alternatively jack up the volume on those speakers to drown out the noise 🙂 But don't think your neighbours would appreciate it!
