...tells me I need to reboot my surface.
When I tell them that it makes noises when it's not connected they tell me that resetting will likely solve the problem.
I just received a replacement Surface, which was in lesser quality shape than my original, and now the AC adapter suddenly died.
Are these things programmed to fail under warranty?
Lucky I heard the noise, I was planning to leave it plugged in unattended for 8 days. My house would probably catch fire from this adapter. If it weren't so late, I'd complain on their social media sites.
BTW, I am heading out the country and will take it to a Microsoft Store in person to replace it when I get back. Hopefully they won't BS me there.
