I keep hearing bells jingling from the living room, so I go check it out.

This is what I find.

My cousins had a cat that would do that in a Christmas tree, all the needles must feel great.

How do you get at the presents if they are blocked by the furniture?

LMAO that's awesome. When I lived with my parents my mom had this snow man statue that had a little bell on it, she'd start playing with it and at random we'd start hearing the bell lol. Cats are so funny.

Our cats used to slowly knock ornaments off the tree. The closer it got to Christmas, the more empty the lower half of the tree would get.

We had a cat that did that the first 2 years we had him, broke all the good ornanments.

He tipped over a chair into the tree and knocked it over one year but I could never prove it.

Sly bastard....

That's awesome. My friend's cat would do similar tree climbing when she was a kitten. It was hilarious to see the tree shaking and every once in a while a paw would reach out to swat at you. :)

My mom's cats used to do that. Her last cat though was particularly fond of eating tinsel. You can imagine the scene when it came out the other end. After that tinsel was put on hold for years until the cat passed away.

One of our cats used to do that until she bit into a light and got zapped. Now she watches the tree with distrust from a distance. Unless she is trying to lick the sap water.
