My Staples BF experience

So... I decided - screw it, I'm not going to shop at 6 AM, but I've got about 400 bucks in Staples cash cards, so I'll hit Staples just before 10 AM, get whatever FAR staff they have left, use a coupon and get out. Well, there's not much left - CDRW spindles, slim cases, shredders... Just in case talking to CSR. DVD burners? Sold out. CD Burners? Gone. Sony PDA? Are you kidding? Busy day? 400 people were busting the door at 6 AM (am I glad I didn't go). Getting paid for overtime? Nah.
Meanwhile - time goes, it's 10:15. Almost no people in the store. All of a sudden the backdoor opens and another CSR walks in with ........ 4 (four!) DVD burners. Goes staright to the glass case. Opens the case. By that time I'm materializing next to him. He goes "Sorry, it's PAST 10". Me: "Who cares, I got here BEFORE 10."... "OK, take one, if it works - fine". It sure works, sale price, both rebates printed out.
Now. I think this is something worth reporting to BBB. I know these guys always lie, but that was the first time straight in my face.

True, but if there's enough complaints, they may change their practice.
 
What, your supprised? If a store is supposed to have 10 in stock, the employees buy 6 of them first. Or hide it in the back.

Did you ever try to buy staples in Staples? It's the hardest thing to do ever! because everything is labeled STAPLES!

I thought it was a well known fact they do that. Of course it's wrong, but it happens every BF. I'm just surprised they came out just after 10... instead of later that day so as not to be so obvious.
