Ok i just bought new speakers from compusa (newegg, office max, ect. also have them) and they were $50 but they dont turn off. When i turn the knob to off position the led goes off but i still hear a low nosie commin from the speakers and woofer. the nosie stays the same when i turn them on but when i unplug them it goes away.

Anyone else have this problem? cause im wonderin if mine are defective or if its all of them.

you can see them here at

I suspect the noise you are hearing is the transformer hum in the sub-woofer. it will stop if you turn off the power at the mains.
it's not a fault but a feature.... ;)

No, that's not it. After turning the speakers off, you can still hear whatever you are playing, with some distortion though.

no it dosent have the options only a right speaker plug in.

as for the noise i shouldve been more specific. i dont hear music or what ever but its more of a low ummmm satic noise i think. i thought it could be the transformer but it shouldnt go through the speakers , right?
