My speaker experiement didn't work as well as I'd hoped...

I had an old pair of Pioneer loudspeakers (30W) (1 tweeter / 1 woofer) and on one of them the cone on the woofer had come apart so I decided to make a few modifications and throw in my set of 100W 6" JL components.

Well, after everything was set in place, I closed up the box and plugged it in.

The old loudspeakers sound better

100W. It's comming from my Pioneer VSX-D510 (5.1) receiver.

I forgot, these speakers are 60W continuous (JL-VR600CS)

I used to power them with a 100W amp in my car before I took 'em out.
