My Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus won't recognize IDE3&4

I am having aproblem I was hoping someone could help me with. My new Soyo SY-K7V will not recognize any drives I plug into IDE3&4. I have the jumper set to IDE instead of RAID and have installed the Ultra driver under XP. My BIOS does not even recognize these drives. Any suggestions.

 
could it be ide 3 and 4 only work in raid mode but if you use raid mode I guess you can use it for cd-rom too..test to alter anyway

The board is jumpered for IDE jump pins 2-3) and not RAID by default, and should function as normal IDE ports when the Ultra driver is installed.

Try reinstalling the driver? I'm not using XP but had no troubles in 2K.
