Im gonna build myself a new computer (my 4th to date) after my end of term exams. Ive listed my proposed components below with their prices. can anyone see any room for improvement.
I will be using my computer for gaming, music, video, and surfing the net (512k BB) I may overclock the video card in the future as DX9 becomes more stressful
Case : thermaltake Xaser 3 black with window, hardcano, 8 fans - £71.99

CPU : athlon 64 (sock 754) 3200+ 1mb cache - £195.04
Motherboard : MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R - £91.65
RAM - corsair 2x512MB 184Pin DIMM PC3200 DDRRAM Non-Parity CL2.5 - £146.00
Heatsink - thermaltake venus 12 - £16.99
Video card - sapphire radeon 9800 pro 128mb - £169.00

Speakers - creative inspire p380 2.1 - £29.99
Harddrive - Seagate barracuda 120gb 7200rpm 8mb cache - £62.92
(keeping old 5400 40GB barracudda for backups)
Network - onboard
Optical drives - keeping my phillipps CDRW and generic DVD
Total spend: £830
Keeping Monitor, keyboard and mouse. has anyone had bad experinces with anything above, or any alternatives, bearing in mind id like to keep the budget under £850
