Ordered one from the Amazon warehouse for $603 (so it was an open box or reconditioned, etc) about two weeks ago...It pretty much 'appeared' brand new as the strap/battery/charger/manuals were all still in their factory packaging.
I am very happy with the pictures and the increased FPS over my A350 but it would start giving me the Temperature warning after an hour's worth of use taking still shots (mix of single shot and continous shots)...It never shut down though. I know there is an overheating issue if you take video without turning off the steady shot, but I was not shooting video.
I am returning it to Amazon and will get a brand new one for $699. I don't think I will benefit from the extra features of the A77...
