My solution for the immigration 'problem'

We could give them a choice when they're caught; military training and a rifle, or deportation. With said training we round up as many as possible, and then send them back with orders to make their own countries worth staying. And we could end our support for the paramilitaries, and dictators in some of these countries so that the people could actually govern themselves the way they wish to be governed. Mexico has been in a low level civil war for decades against indigenious peoples, so there is a place to start. Mexico needs a revolution, and we have an 11 million person army sitting here wishing they had something to believe in, and a home.

We're training Iraqis to make their own country into something worth living in, although it isn't exactly going very well.

Lets just send some flu infected pigeons to mexico to wipe out the other 80million who want to come here.

Here's another take on it. . .Round them up, tell them they can have it one of two ways.
1) Go home.
2) We have a troop shortage in Iraq and a recruiting problem. Citizenship for military service in Iraq. You want in this country so badly, prove it. Fight. Show us you aren't just here to exploit our economy and take take take.

My bet, this will get rid of a lot of illegal immigrants but won't solve the troop shortage problem
