Okay, let me clear something up here.. I'm not going to college because we can't afford it, AND I ALREADY DID THE ASSIGMENT. I'm not lazy, I did it already. Victim mentality my as[/i]s.
EDIT: I filled in that I was going to be a computer programmer. For the 0.0000001% chance he changes his mind (he's really stubborn), any computer programmers care to give me an interview?
Just because mommy and daddy can't afford it doesn't mean you can't go to college. There are plenty of ways you can go to college if you want to. "We" don't have to be able to afford it, you need to want it badly enough to figure out how to do it on your own.
Okay, like what? A scolarship won't work, you have to be REALLY REALLY SMART. Loans don't work either, the governement has some dumb requirements for loans for people that are (still) in school.
I was thinking of joining the military and coming home with a big pile of money so I could go to college, but you've got a pretty big chance that'll either kill me or leave me scarred for life. But, seriously, if you've got other suggestions, please tell them. I'd love to go to college.
The Netherlands. There's lots of dumb rules.
Given the above I got to think your chances of getting killed are about the same as your chances of getting killed in an auto accident. This is not meant to be a slam against the Netherlands armed forces but if they are involved in any kind of action anywhere I have not heard of it.
No, I mean, the death count has only been like 1100... Out of 20,000 men. That leaves 1100/20000=5.5% dead.

I'm doing it all myself. Don't say it isn't possible. Scholarship comes from fiscal need. I happen to have a shiton of that. I had ~1/2 paid off through grants, and the other half is through more loans and working a student job. No parental help. It is easily possible if you want to do it.
EDIT: Ahh, Netherlands. Take out loans from the bank for community college (if you really do wnat to go to college). Im sure they ahve some sort of lower interest loans for students.
Well, for some reason, the interest rates for the demographic that's likely to go to college (ie, 18-26) pays a looooot of interest. Free colleges, community colleges or state colleges, we don't have that over here.

With all the typing you do on ATOT, you could have written 100 of these assignments.
Everything you post on here is fiction, just like your assignment will be.
Currently, I've got 16 pages of handwritten material. But you know, I'm so lazy, I could cry. But tears, are just too lazy, to fall out of my eyes.. (Jimi Hendrix - Taking Care of No Bussiness).

Nobody called
SHENS yet? I've never seen someone shoot down so much positive advice.
I've 'shot down' 'so much positive advice' because I don't live in the States, and your rules and laws don't apply to me.

Hey man, I'm right there with you. It sucks being poor. How am I gonna pay off the $100,000+ debt I have?? Oh yeah, with income from my JOB. The job I got after getting a DEGREE. The degree I paid for with those LOANS.
Cliffs:
1. LOANS
2. DEGREE
3. JOB
You need to have something to prove you can pay it back. Even if I had something like that, I'd rather sell it than get killed on interest.
