my smp really slow!!! why?

why my smp running so slow? i dunno wat is the standard score other similar system can get, but using xflask converting at dvd 720x480 resolution decode 5.1 48khz sound i onli get around 20fps, even a single athlon xp will surpass the score...damn

running photoshop 6 also seems no different when i set it to single processor exxecution affinity and two processor execution...

is there anything wrong with the system?


this is my system
abit vp6 mp 1.4 in yt bios
windows 2000 running MP kernel(not acpi)
256cas 2 sdram at 152mhz turbo speed
2x1.14ghz PIII
