ok so i tried to spam my site, and forums dont like that. but i goe enough replies to get some feedback on my site. I was hoping i can throw down this post and get some quality feedback on my site

its an auction site and here is the rundown of how it works:

>items like ipods are listed anywhere below 20 bux. (set price, never goes up)
>there are max number of bids that can be placed on an item. ( once the max is hit the auction closes )
>there is a bid fee, for every bid you place.
>you are bidding on an ammount, from 0.01 - the max bid ammount
>you are hoping that no one has placed the bid ammount you select, and you are also hoping no one will place that
> you win by having the highest unique bid. meaning no one but you placed a bid for that ammount, and it was the highest ammount with a single bidder.
>15% of net proceeds go to charity

if you sign up you can try it for free on a bonus auction, you are credited one bonus auction when you sign up.

now please dont take this as spam i am trying to get some suggestions on how to improve this site, and make it more trustworthy. the response i have had from spamming is that it seems like a "scam" I am trying to run a sucessful auction site and i dont want it to seem like a scam

so here is the url: www.outbid4less.com please post any comments/suggestions/thoughts

6-1-802.
(1) "Contest" means any game, puzzle, competition, or plan that holds out or offers to prospective participants the opportunity to receive or compete for gifts, prizes, or gratuities as determined by skill or any combination of chance and skill.

6-1-803. Prohibited practices and required disclosures.
(1) No sponsor shall require a person to pay the sponsor money or any other consideration as a condition of awarding the person a prize, or as a condition of allowing the person to receive, use, compete for, or obtain a prize or information about a prize.

i am trying to get some suggestions on how to improve this site, and make it more trustworthy
A letter from the Colorado Secretary Of State certifying that your site is legal would help.

Ripped from the Hot Deals thread

I'm often easily confused "eric" so let's go over some details.

According to all the phonebooks I have access to, the address you have listed is for a:

Hartmann, B J
7022 S Robb St
Littleton, CO 80127
(303) 933-1611

but let's set that aside. The email you're using "westbowles.com" is, indeed a "christian" email - it's from the Westbowles Church in, you guessed it, Littleton Colorado.

So tell me, does your Church know you're using their email address for business puposes? Why doesn't some kind some ask them? Here's the contact:

info@westbowleschurch.com

Oh, and lastly, it appears the church has a large number of programs for kids in Jr. High and High school.

So we've got someone living at an address owned by someone else with a different area code using his churches email to run a business.

Tell your mommy and daddy the big bad grown ups spanked your ass. Have a nice day.

With the "BJ" in the name I thought maybe it was his real name.

Do you own their snail mail box?

Will they be happy to know you claim ownership of their church website and are using it in connection with an illegal raffle scheme?
