You probably have to re-create the ADOBE Font List.
To re-create Adobe font list files in Mac OS X:
1. Close InDesign and any other Adobe applications.
2. Choose File > Find, and do one of the following:
-- In Mac OS X v10.1.x, click the hard drive icon at the top of the Sherlock window, type Adobefnt in the text box, and then click the magnifying glass.
-- In Mac OS X v10.2.x or 10.3.x, choose Local Disks from the Search In menu, type Adobefnt in the text box beside File Name Is, and then click Search.
3. Select the file, and choose File > Move to Trash.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for the files Adobefnt05.lst and Adobefnt06.lst.
5. Restart InDesign. InDesign re-creates the font list files during startup.
