my sister had a terrible car accident at 2:30 AM this morning...*lots of PICS*

my sister totalled our 1990 volvo this morning at 2:30 AM. she broke a telephone pole in half, literally. the break was 5'6'' off the ground...no one knows how the car got up that high, and she doesnt know what happened either.


shes fine but probably gonna be soar as crap the next week or so....

all the cops and the firemen had to say was "she was lucky she was in that volvo"

if any of you have ever riden in one of these, they feel like a tank. i guess she really was lucky that she was in it because she probably would have died in anything else.


last thing...if you look at the scrapes on drivers side exterior, that is where the car rolled and came to a halt.

no one knows how she got out of the car either...



my football coach happened to be out and stopped because he saw it happen, so thanks for him

Well shoot, I'd sure like to know what happened, especially if I were her! Where was she coming from that late at night? A bar or party? Driving back from school and fell asleep? How old is she? Does she have a good record otherwise? Ya think somebody else caused her to drive off the road?

she is 20 almost 21.

she has never had any other problems driving.

she doesnt know if someone else caused her to drive off the road...

You obviously haven't seen a car hit a telephone pole before. I think that Volvo held up pretty well considering what it went thru.
