Ok, here is the story. About a year ago I got a new computer, so I ordered a very cheap case for my old one. The case was terrible, but I lived with it. Then I tried to put in a cd burner, but the plastic on the case was preventing it from going in, so I ripped off the plastic off the case, but then the computer would no longer boot. So I ordered a new case, still same problem, computer won't boot. I reset the CMOS, still wont boot, nothing, no fans spin, but sometimes there is a high pitch sound. So I unscrewed the motherboard screws and the heatsink fan now comes on and the LEDS on the CD-ROM drives come on too. Whenever I put any motherboard screw in, it doesnt even boot, just makes the high pitch sound or nothing at all. So I hooked up everything with no motherboard screws, but now no video is coming up on the monitor, its a built in video card, with shared memory, any ideas on what to try?
