My Screen Saver doesn't want to come on...

I have it set to come one after 1 minute but it never does. I also have my screen set to shut off after 3 minutes and it never does. Any ideas?

I think its okay. It seems as though if i have my wireless desktop plugged into USB, the ss and monitor will not go. But with it and my speaks unplugged, it turns off. Anyway to stop this?

For ease of use, i have it plugged into usb on the side. Maybe thats it? I will test and see...
