this lab is used for computer graphics and animation. all other labs on campus are just dells, w/ the exception of maybe 3 or 4 macs in a couple of labs.

apple gives huge discounts to school, so the aren't THAT expensive. and really the only major software difference between macs and pcs is games, so they are a pretty good school lab computer.

we just got the *new* imacs in our main computer lab.

we still got p1 100mhz with 32mb slow ram and windows 98 with novelware and programs that need fast machines. We have some new from last year p3 800mhz? i guess and in the tech lab we have p3 1ghz machines with 512mb ram and optical mouses. Highschool btw and mostly all the computers run on either p2's or p1's.
