my school email addy got spams........

damnit...I don't know what's going on. starting on friday, I got a few spams with a similar format from different email address a day. normally, I get 1 or 2 spams a month.

I use my school email strictly for school purpose. just damn.....I hope this will stop, but not likely. :|

you must have your school email addy listed somewhere for spambots to read.

I lasted 3 years before I started getting spam on mine.

Check the list of recipients in the header, if any. My school account has been getting a lot of spam cc:'ed to similar character sequences on the same domain. Looks like somebody is just hitting the entire plausible namespace.

I have all my school email forwarded to gmail, and have gmail setup to send from my school address. I no longer recieve spam.
