Rant My Schedule is about six hours off.

I wake up early, often well before daylight. I try to get started on outdoor tasks just around daylight weather permitting. That means I'm usually worn out and too tired to do anything else by 1 or 2PM. That's OK in the Summer when it's hot by then, but it sucks in Fall and Spring when the weather is best then.

If I need to go to town, I too often get there before some stores open. Some open at 6 or 7 AM, while others don't open until 9 or later, so I try to plan stops accordingly. I'm usually done and on my way home by noon.

Then, I'm beat and crashed out by 3 or 4 in the afternoon and usually asleep by 7 or 8.

Just seems like my whole day is shifted about 6 hours early. It's been like this for years, so it's unlikely to change any time soon, if ever.

Some might just depend on your job schedule. I have relative-in-laws that are in the trades and leave their house for work between 4 and 5am and are in bed by 8-9pm

I am 100% the opposite.
Every night, when everybody else I know is sleeping, I am not yet tired and cant usually fall asleep until some time after 2.
Used to be worse when I was younger, where I would be trying to fall asleep without being tired until 4 or 5 am, but, over the last 15 years of working days, my circadian rhythm has shifted a little bit so i can sleep by 130 some nights.

This is what I fight with every night

Maybe you might wanna talk to your doc to ask about "Advanced sleep phase disorder." Doc might have some good advice or treatment.

I'm the same but it's more like everything is 12 hours too late. :p When I'm on night shifts I tend to sleep better and be more rested. I find it's way easier going to bed at 7am, than getting up at that time.
