My Sblive hiccups in win2k!!

I am using the latest drivers available for the sblive in win2k and the rest of my system is fine.
However, while I am scrolling down fast with the scroll wheel in IE such as a webpage, the sound (while I am listening to an Mp3) "hiccups". This is getting really annoying and did not happen in Win98. Any help would be appreciated.

in your sound properties (through the control panel) try turning hardware acceleration down two notches.

This fixed my sblive hiccups in win2k.

Me too, in Win98 there is nothing wrong, in Win2K then always have sound crackle, distortion... in WinXP too. Tried different VIA driver, Sblive drivers, tried almost all kinds of combinations but no success. Then I change the garbage sblive to Hercules one, no more problem.
