My SBLive doesn't have a SPDIF cdrom connection. WTF?

Just received my order from NewEgg and noticed the SBLive value I ordered is totally different to the one I currently have in my old computer. It comes with a digital out, but no SPDIF CDROM connection on the board! My old card didn't have digital out, but had the SPDIF.

The connection is there to add the SPDIF plug on the board. Anyone know if Radio Shack or someone else carry these connectors? I'd like to solder one onto the board.

don't think soldering a connector alone is going to work for that value card!

I just compared the card to my old one. I looked at the solder traces coming from the SPDIF, and they are still intack. All Creative did was just remove the plug for some damn reason. How much could one plug save them? Ten cents? I'm going to Rat Shack to see if they have a plug.

there are many live oem variants, you should look at it first before purchase,
or only buy retail to get what's there for sure.
