My SB i7-2600k temps are unusually high for stock...

The bios puts a load on the chip, it's running at full speed and not idling.
That is not high temps it is normal. My 2500k with stock cooler was 61 or 61 in the bios

With that being said the stock cooler sucks 😛

I had no idea that stupid EFI BIOS puts a load when reading the temps! It was just weird. I thought it was idle, but I guess not... I just through the integrated thermometer was busted! But then again, who knows.

This is my first Sandy Bridge Build with an EFI BIOS anyways. The FT02 Is VERY quiet. Kind of impressively quiet...

make sure your bios is updated. When I fist got my i2500k it was reading 43-45 stock idle, but after the bios flash, 30 idle.
