My sandy bridge hack

Using gigabyte ga-p67a-ud3, nv 260 gtx, and 2500k. Finally got it running stable (i hope) over a day of uptime. You can check out the steps i took and the problems i had in this thread at tonymac.

Its really hacky feels dirty compared to a DSDT system, but in time 🙂. Actually tony said next week he will edit the DSDTs

lol thanks. I was missing osx, didnt think i would but ...

So i was looking at my old mobo that i bought for 65 brand new shipped, is now 100's of dollars. Only option was sandy bridge as im not going pay the same for older i's or ever older core 2 stuff.

10.6.7 with native kernel is running but i need sleep, and no sleep yet so im on 10.6.6 for the time.

Wow nice work!! I just setup a SB rig for my buddy the other day (7, not Hack) and that puppy flies right along - great system!

Been rock solid on 10.6.6. Still waiting for a some stuff to happen might not happen until sandy bridge iMacs come out but im good on 10.6.6. People getting some crazy geekbench scores by using turbo mode.
