Why does it keep self-enabling data roaming? I've turned it off multiple times today, did not restart the phone, and unlock it only to see that it has enabled data roaming for me (thank God it actually notified me).

Does it re-enable every time I drop back into a roaming area? I've only started experiencing this problem recently, I think.

Good question as it happens with my vibrant all the time. Same thing with wifi-calling. I turn it off and it keeps coming back on. Many things keep turning back on. My battery lasts only a few hours before it needs a charge. I am really getting pissed off with this phone and am about to smash it against the wall. I wonder if the Vibrant 4g has shitty battery life. I was thinking of getting that for the FFC but if its the same then FFC will kill the battery even faster.

Ugh, piece of crap phone turns on data roaming even when "Use packet data - Activate data network" is DISABLED.

Why would anybody want a turd phone like this?

Also, if you stop a process, it will just activate again the next time another program tries to access it. You have to stop the program from trying to make wifi calls or access data.

Girlfriend has a Vibrant with Tmo 2.2 rom, and I rooted it. She has all sorts of "little" problems like these. I'm still using my IPhone 3GS. The hardware is impressive on the Galaxy S, but the OS leaves much to be desired.
