Posted this in the Console forum as well, figured I'd post here as well.

So, as long as I've had my Xbox 360 my NAT has been set to "Open." I've gone through the router and set up the settings, etc.

Well, yesterday I thought that logging in to XBL took longer than usual and while playing MW2 with some friends I was dropped from the party (which never happens). I didn't think much of it, I joined them again and got into a game.

Today it happened again though, when I rejoined the party my buddy mentioned that it sounded like my NAT wasn't open and I knew that was impossible, but sure enough I looked down just slightly and it had been changed to "Moderate." I didn't change any settings, add any devices, etc.

What could have done this? I've tried opening it again with no luck, it's stuck on Moderate.

Any ideas??

Upgrade the firmware and make sure universal plug and play is enabled. The 60 uses UPnP to open the ports it needs. This solves most all 360 nat problems.

And I miss racing. :(
