Well, the temperatures have been dropping sightly where I live which is great for me because for some reason the air conditioning barely works in my room even though rooms next door its great, I think its clogged.
Anyway, since the air conditioning never helps me much, I always have a fan turned on. I've been leaving my window open since the temps started dropping a little and now its 77 F in my room! I decided to turn off my room fan and I now realize how quiet the ANtec Sonata case really is...
I used to think that since in my previous se tups I never had a fan anywhere except the cpu till this one, that they must have gotten louder over time and my Sonata will make it back to that level where I used to hear it on my previous systems. I was wrong... this is much quieter and I have 3 fans other than PSU whereas I have 1 fan other than PSU in my old rigs and this one is quieter. Its possibly because the fan spins slower when the cpu is at lower temps. Whatever it is, my case is really quiet now, nothing more than a whisper!
