My Roku 3 showing volume display

Today I installed the new Youtube channel on my Roku 3 and I noticed when I was playing a video clip, a volume bar display showed up for a few seconds. It was not my receiver's or TV's volume display as I know what they look like on the screen. I replayed the same video clip again and the volume display did not show up and never showed up since. This is the first time it happened. Is this a glitch with the Youtube on the Roku?

No you hit the volume buttons on the right side of the remote.
