do i have to buy and connecters/cables to connect harddrive and cd/dvd drive.

my current comp has orange seatbelt looking things inside them connecting the cd drives.

and also do i need to buy anything so i can get internet access, not a router i mean to connect a usb.

SATA and IDE connectors will be included with the MoBo.
SATA connectors are long thing cables that look like this.
IDE connectors are the ribbon cables you described and look like this.
Depending on the internet service provider, you should get everything you need to set up.
They will include a modem and all the necessary cables and drivers.

Do you already have the MoBo?

EDIT: You made it sound like you already have it. usually, if it says 1.8v, you need 1.8v, but only to POST. After that, you can use 2.6v RAM if you like

many boards require sticks of 1.8v to post....If the ram sticks require 1.9v to post at stock settings then youi may not post long enough to get into bios to raise the vdimm....

I would buy quality sticks if you plan on ocing and then a cheap stick of 256mb 1.8v PC2-4200 (533ddr2) like stuff to boot...shouldn't cost you much but it is the price you pay for ocing these bad boys....

Edit: go to asus forums to see if this is an issue...i know it is with the Gigabyte boards which are some of the top 965p chipsets around....

My gskills wouldn't post at initial boot-up cause they run (or need) 2.0v at stock cas 4 settings.....I had a cheap stick just to boot and held on it in case durting my ocing I took it too far and needed to clear the cmos and start over....

I personally woulnd't buy that mobo for ocing a E6300...the much cheaper Gigabyte S3 mobo is more then capable of running 450-500fsb with no hard mods at around 40 bucks less...just put a fan on the northbridge chipset and you will be fine. I would buy the gigabyte and the money you save get the better PSU...NEVERR SKIMP ON PSU!!!! I dont and I rarely have problems with my ocing ventures. Never had a PSU in my systems die or take out other components...

I recently built an E6300/ Gigabyte S3 system that could do 3.4ghz...all with the 450watt True power 2 PSU that came with the sonata II case. I was not building a gaming system so the video card was not a power hog. If you plan on running a high end video card I would want nothing less then 500watt but still quality...seasonic, Antec, Enermax, OCZ, etc
