BF3's graphics are definitely pretty, even on low settings. To me, BF3 is the most fluid game I have played in a while. The overall experience - the sound, the lighting, the animations, the gameplay itself - all superb.

yah the immersion of the game is impressive, the sounds in BF3 are just perfect to. The explosions sound awesome especially.

I like how when a tank blow sup, it actually effects the environment around it, the trees "blow back" from blast.

How about waiting until the game is released and see if it's worth spending hundreds of dollars on? Not only whether it's any good (beta was disappointing) but whether the graphics turn out to be worthy of such an expensive upgrade (ultra settings not even working in beta?)

I found the Beta to be outstanding even with low settings, I will definitely be getting this game, I mean its already pre-ordered and ready to roll. The gameplay is simply fantastic.

if you feel you have to play on Low settings with the GTX260 you're not going to be able to play Ultra with any current single GPU @ 1080p.

I'm not exactly following your logic, why do you say this? The 260 is pretty old so I'm not surprised that it struggles so much with the game.

I will definitely wait until the game is released and see what all the bench marks say.
