I love these games, but I'm not very good at them. I've only played skirmishes with the computer, not the sp campaign. I actually never tried the mp, because I'm so bad at the skirmishes with the computer.

Meh, well w/e. If anybody's interested, they could look me up on xfire and we could have a game--just go comp-stomping, no big deal.

Perhaps...I unfortunately do not have enough time in the day to dedicate for multiplayer matches.

That, and I don't have the time to understand the balancing, advantages and disadvantages of different unit types...or explore strategies on how to effectively counter a human opponent, not to mention mastering the different maps, etc.

I would love to play multiplayer...just afraid I will login into a match, and get wiped out in 5 mins or less by someone who has already mastered a strategy for their map of choice, has their hot keys wired to move quickly, and has heavy armor knocking on my door before I capture my first strategic point.
