I wish LR well, but he was acting really disturbed and weird during his last tenure here. IIRC he is or was a mod at the Sudhian forums as well.

That Ford GT thread was only one of a handful of really really weird threads he participated in, which he ended up editing to correct his strange behavior (he said, for example, that he was planning on buying an Aston Martin). He then posted a story claiming that his brother had hijacked his account and posted all the weirdness. I believe he had been having some kind of personal or professional problems at the time, and the whole thing came off as very sad.

For my part, I sincerely applaud LR for trying to go about things the right way this time. I have no problem welcoming him back if he can act like a real person.

i tried to help you out w/your company w/certain things, and i felt betrayed when i found out it was a lie. i invested my time and it was utterly wasted.

but i hope you mean well, and that you get some help for your lying. it's not a good thing.

I tend to agree, and I was around for his last appearance. I mostly just found the whole thing sad. That said, I believe he did get others to extend themselves somewhat on his behalf, for help with what proved to be fictional business problems. He is an odd duck, but I appreciate his coming clean. I see from his website that he is now a born-again Christian, which I don't think was the case in August, so maybe that accounts for his change of heart.
